The client has an employee who has produced her own unauthorized W-2s and filed 1040s from them for the years 2016-2019. The client has not filed any payroll returns with the IRS for these years, and the W-2s were never actually submitted.
The business is a Schedule C and the client has not yet filed any 1040s for the years in question. She would like to catch up now and proceed in a way that will clear up her own issues without injuring the employee.
